It’s our 9th year for this single-track-packed event, we’ll send you up and around the Cobble Hill Mountain Recreation area for some exquisite mountain trails that will surely not disappoint! Race sold out quick in the last few years!

LONG COURSE - 10:30 AM

  • 1188m Vertical Gain
  • 3 Aid Stations at 7km, 15km and 21km.
  • CUTOFF TIME: 11km at 2hr 15min (12:45pm) – At the short/long course split. 15km at 3hr (13:30) at the Poplar Road Aid station. ****updated August 15, 2025****

SHORT COURSE - 11:00 AM

  • ~12k
  • 640m Vertical Gain
  • 1 Aid Station at 7km

BIB PICK UP

You are required to show a government-issued photo ID to get your race bib – No exceptions. Passport, driver’s licence, hunting licence, etc. all work!

Pick up your bib from the registration tent.

Bib pick up times are staggered:

  • Long Course participants: 9:00am – 10:00am.
  • Short Course participants: 9:45am – 10:30am.
  • Kids Race: 9:00am – 10:00am.

PARKING

There is NO race parking at Nature Quarry Park. We recommend carpooling if you can.

You may park in any designated parking area along Hutchinson Road, Watson Ave and Fisher Ave.

We have been given strict instructions from Cowichan Valley Regional District to not park in the follow areas:

  • Empress Road
  • Cobble Hill Road
  • Shawnigan Lake Road
  • Any of the business parking lots

Here is a map of the spots you CANNOT park (highlighted in Yellow).

AID STATIONS

There is one aid station for the short course at 7km and four for the long course at 7km, 14km, 17km and 21km. We’ll have water, Gatorade, fruit, chips, pickles, and our usual spread of snacks.

Our events are cupless! Please bring something to drink from! (or purchase a cup from the Frontrunners merch tent!)

FINISH LINE

Come and hang out after the race to enjoy post-race nutrition and be in the with chance of winning a draw prize!
