This brand new race for 2025 will show off some spectacular views and incredible, volunteer-built trails in Lake Cowichan! Ever been to Lake Cowichan in the Spring time? if not, you’ll love this Spring time race in an awesome lake town! Come for the weekend and stay at local campgrounds and accommodations!
CENTENNIAL PARK
Cowichan Lake Recreation Centre, Lake Cowichan, BC V0R 2G0
KIDS RACE - 10:15 AM
- ~1k
- Registration fees for the kid’s race go towards the Cowichan Lake Trail Blazers Society.
LONG COURSE - 10:30 AM
- ~26km
- 638m Vertical Gain
- 3 Aid Stations at 8.75km, 16km and 21km
- CUTOFF TIME: 8.75km 1hr 30 min (12pm). At the first aid station.
SHORT COURSE - 11:00 AM
- ~13k
- 171m Vertical Gain
- 1 Aid Station at 8.75km
PARKING
Parking at the recreation centre upper parking lots, lower gravel lot and Point Ideal Drive. We will have parking volunteers to assist you in the lower lots, please follow their directions.
Please carpool if you can! You can meet new friends and also reduce your carbon footprint.
BIB PICK UP
You are required to show a government-issued photo ID to get your race bib – No exceptions. Passport, driver’s licence, hunting licence, etc. all work!
Pick up your bib from the registration tent.
To ease congestion, bib pick up times are staggered:
- Long Course participants: 9:00am – 10:00am.
- Short Course participants: 9:45am – 10:30am.
- Kids Race: 9:00am – 10:00am.
AID STATIONS
There is one aid station for the short course, and three for the long course. We’ll have water, Gatorade and our usual spread of snacks.
Our events are cupless! Please bring something to drink from! (or purchase a cup from the Frontrunners merch tent!)
FINISH LINE
See you at the finish line for our usual post-race food and drinks, hang with new friends, cheer on the runners! Be sure to stay until the end for some fantastic draw prizes from our sponsors!

Looking to camp on race weekend?
Lakeview Park Campground is available as first-come, first-served for Race Weekend. The won’t be taking any reservations but with 75 sites available, there will be plenty of space. The Website will show they aren’t open on Race Weekend but we’ve arranged so they are!
